e: rlawson@janney.com Rick Lawson joined Janney Montgomery Scott as a Senior Vice President in 2007. He shares Janney's client commitment, and investment philosophy and practices. For your benefit, he strives to effectively utilize the depth of experience and knowledge accumulated as a Financial Advisor over the last 30-plus years. His counsel and results stem from the pragmatic and, in some cases, unique approaches that have evolved from his many financial relationships and experiences. As you begin to work with Rick, you will understand how his developed listening skills and creative questioning begins the relationship process, and collectively clarify your objectives. For each individual, he applies his range of experience and knowlege to best fulfill specific goals. As you continue to work with Rick, he competently and collaboratively works as your partner, recharting your course so that investment objectives best evolve to meet any changing life circumstances. It is in the financial specifics where his investing difference sets Rick apart. That difference includes both Rick's experience and his knowlege. Rick is the first to say that knowledge, appropriately shared and pragmatically applied, has been his lifelong passion. Knowledge, acquired academically, professionally and personally, is the wellspring of his long professional career, and the basis for his many client referrals. He utilizes sound professional judgment, pragmatic intuition and grounded experience to help his clients meet their long-term financial goals. Rick is an active member of his community, having served for 10 years as the Farmington Village Green and Library Association Finance Committee chairman. He has supported and participated in many local charitable events and has served in the Connecticut National Guard. Rick, and his wife Joan, are lifelong Connecticut residents and live in Farmington. Rick has two children, a son and a daughter.
